SWEET CORN SOUP


Sweet corn soup recipe is an ideal breakfast recipe you can take every day; on the other hand, you can make it as a starter for evening snack too. The reason behind its idealness is that it is very delicious and healthy to eat. Especially, in the wintry season it is really a noteworthy soup recipe for all ages including babies and toddlers.

INGREDIENTS

  • Corn kernels - 1 ½ cup 
  • Finely chopped medium sized potato - ½ to 1 
  • Green peas - ¼ cup 
  • Finely chopped carrots - ¼ cup 
  • Finely chopped beans - 4 to 6 
  • Springs of spring onions chopped - 2 to 3 
  • Delicately chopped cauliflower - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Butter - 1 tsp 
  • Sugar - ¼ to ½ tsp 
  • Peeper powder as necessary
PROCESS

  • First of all, rinse the vegetables well and chop them delicately.
  • Thereafter, take some butter in a pot and heat it, add vegetables but for spring onions and then fry for 120 seconds.
  • Keep adding water and boil until the vegetables get cooked.  Keep in mind that cooking on a low flame makes the soup more delicious.
  • Now when you see that the soup has started to boil, then mix corn starch in less water. Though this is an optional method. You can ignore it too. 
  • Finally when the vegetables are mild cooked, pour it in a pot and stir until it thickens. Add salt and sugar in it.
  • Serve sweet corn soup warm with peeper to get the real tasty experience of it.

COOKING TIME – 15 MINUTES
